Come & Go Menu

A Savory Affair defines the style of a come and go reception as:

An event that does not exceed 3 hours in length where the food is out for guest consumption for aproximately 2 hours and there is no set dinner time.  These menus are not intended to be a full meal for guests.  It is intended to be a medium to heavy hors d' oeuvres type event.  Guest count is usually some where between 200+ people.   Typically the guests will arrive, drop off their gifts, walk through a reception line and then have something from the buffet.  Guests usually do not stay the entire time.

For these menu's there is a 200 person, 3 item minimum

Salad- your choice of salad from our full menu for $2.00pp

Pasta-your choice of pasta from our standard pasta menu $2.50pp

Build your own pasta station- $4.50pp

Your choice of one type of pasta with 2 different sauces and 5 toppings of your choice from  our full menu.  Toppings commonly would be multi-cheese blend, onions, garlic, black olives, ect.

Add sliced chicken breast or meatballs for $1.75pp

Fresh fruit display $3.25pp

Seasonal fresh fruit displayed on silver trays.  Fruit display will commonly be presented with strawerries, seasonal mixed berries, red and green grapes, watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe.

Antipasta display $2.50pp

Tiered display of various olives, cheeses, crackers, breadsticks, peppers, ect.

Crudite display $2.00pp

Tiered display of various cold raw vegetables.

Fresh breads and pastry display $4.50pp

Beautifully arranged display of fresh sliced breads, muffins and pastries.  Served with 2 flavored butters and 2 cream cheeses.

Cheese display $3.25pp

Tiered display of 5 different types of cheeses with various crackers.

Soup bar $4.25pp

Choice of two types of soup.

Add bread bowls for $2.50pp

Build your own nacho bar $5.25pp

Interactive display of corn chips, nacho cheese, and 5 toppings.  Toppings would usually be like shredded cheese, tomatoes, salsa, sour cream, gaucamole, ect.

Petite dessert display $3.00pp

Tiered display of various petite desserts like mini cheese cakes, puff pastries, éclairs, various seasonal berries.

Chocolate foutain $7.50pp

With your choice of chocolate and 5 dippings items, attendant, display.  Dipping items are usually things like: rice krispy treats, brownies, strawberris, bannanas, ect.

Gelato station with attendant.
Gelatto is served in traditional brightly colored gelato cups with multi colored spoons.  Toppings are available at additional cost.
